Samsung’s Geoje Shipyard hit again, this time by fire

Geoje Shipyard suffered another mishap after tragic crane collapse on May 1, this time it was fire. Fire erupted during works in some of auxiliary workshops, away from docks. All shipyard works, nevertheless, were suspended for some time. No casualties, no injures reported, damages estimated as some 9 million won. Samsung Heavy Industries Shipyard safety conditions were again compromised. On May 1 collapse of a crane claimed 6 lives, 25 people were injured. On newstomato.com photo fire at Geoje Shipyard.
