May 17: Unconfirmed report said URUGUAY REEFER sank in vicinity 49 30S 049 00W. According to AIS, both tug OTWAY and reefer FRIO LAS PALMAS left area and are steaming towards Falkland Islands.
May 16: According to AIS tracks, URUGUAY REEFER was taken on tow by tug OTWAY (IMO 9384394, GT 428, flag Chile) on May 15. As of 0500 UTC May 16 caravan was moving due north at some 3.5 knots speed, FRIO LAS PALMAS (IMO 8908193) escorting. Destination yet unknown.
