German GLORY attacked, 6 crew kidnapped

General cargo vessel GLORY was attacked by armed pirates at around midday May 17 in position 03 59N 006 46E, some 40 nm southeast of Brass, Nigeria, Bight of Bonny. Pirates kidnapped six crew and fled. The remaining crew took vessel to Bonny. At 1300 UTC May 19 vessel was still at Bonny. At the time of attack, vessel was underway, en route from Rotterdam to Harcourt, Nigeria. Nationalities of kidnapped crew yet unknown. Ranks also unknown, but there’s little doubt, that some or all senior officers, including Master, were kidnapped.
