Bulk carrier SBI CARIOCA with 65000 tons of petcoke on board ran aground at around 0800 LT Oct 11 at Belledune, New Brunswick, Canada, Gulf of St. Lawrence. Vessel grounded on muddy bottom, no damages, no hull breach, no leaks reported. According to AIS, vessel was refloated in the evening, and brought to anchor near grounding site, for pending investigation. Vessel arrived to Belledune from Norfolk, USA.
