Patrol ship breached in collision, Japan

Kunashiri-class patrol ship KUNASHIRI collided with pier at Nemuro Port, northeast Hokkaido, while berthing on arrival from patrol in the afternoon May 16, in a strong onshore wind, pushing the ship against pier. The ship sustained bow stern dent and breach, no leak reported. Pier also suffered damages.
