Master of bulk carrier killed by snapped mooring line

Master of bulk carrier UNISON MEDAL was reportedly, hit by broken mooring line and died on the spot, in the morning Sep 10 at Ilo Port, Peru. According to the report, mooring line broke in strong wind, Master went to fore or aft, not clear, and when he was assessing situation, another mooring line snapped. The ship is docked at Ilo since Sep 8, loading copper concentrate.
