Dutch Captain reported medevaced in Portugal waters

General cargo ship MARIT while en route from Finland to Turkey requested medical assistance on Nov 15 off Portugal coast, reporting 50-year old Dutch crew with eyes problem. The ship changed course and headed for Portugal coast, following MRCC Lisbon instructions. Understood ill crew is the Captain of the ship, safely transferred ashore at Viana do Castelo, in rough weather conditions. MARIT continued her voyage after medevac.
