Yacht sank in North sea, 11 people rescued

Sailing yacht SVARTLOGA sank at night Aug 25 off IJmuiden, Netherlands. 11 people on board, including 5 men and 6 women, went into life raft and were rescued by KNRM (Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution) IJmuiden rescue boat. They were taken to IJmuiden, all are safe.
SVARTLOGA left Aarhus for a long journey in the Atlantic, the yacht was to sail through European, West African, Caribbean and North American waters, under the command of her skipper and owner, Mr. Henrik Gronborg.
