Ferry caught in storm, cargo shift, Java sea

Ferry DHARMA KARTIKA IX on the way from Surabaya Java to Balikpapan Kalimantan, Indonesia, was caught in rough weather while crossing Java sea. The ship arrived at Balikpapan in the morning Dec 31 with kind of a mess on cargo deck, with 7 trucks shifted and damaged, 4 of them overturned. No injures reported.
