Japanese cruise ship holed in collision in Apra Harbor, Guam

Cruise ship NIPPON MARU with 524 passengers on board collided with Delta Pier in inner Apra Harbor, Guam, at night Dec 30, on arrival from Japan, inflicting damages both on the ship and the pier. Pier is fitted with fuel pipe line, it wasn’t said if pipe was damaged or not. NIPPON MARU starboard hull sustained a hole 1.5×2.1 meters, understood above waterline.
