Cargo ship disabled, towed to safety, Taiwan

General cargo ship CSE WISDOM EXPRESS went out of control after rudder control equipment failure, and started to drift, some 40 nm south of Hualien Port, central eastern Taiwan, alerting Taiwan authorities in the afternoon Jan 2. The ship is en route from Kaohsiung Taiwan to Funabashi Japan. Tug was sent, and according to Taiwan Maritime Authorities, the ship was safely towed to Hualien Port.
