95% of lies. On Arctic ice “melting”.

Arctic is melting, Northern Sea Route soon to be ice-free all year-long, Global Warming is here and now – look at Arctic ice… so on and so forth. One can’t look through news headlines not to bump into this or that “warming” prediction, forecast or fear-mongering. Read latest horror stories “95 percent of the Arctic Ocean’s old sea ice is gone”, published by such paragons of trustworthiness and fact-checking, as Washington Post and SALON, dated Dec last year:

…NOAA’s latest report showed, among other disconcerting findings, that the oldest and thickest ice in the Arctic has declined by 95 percent over the past three decades. It is one of a handful reports from various agencies over the last couple months sounding the alarm regarding climate change.
In 2018, old ice constituted less than 1% of the ice pack, meaning that very old Arctic ice has declined by 95% in the last 33 years,” the report states…

How very interesting! Look at Arctic ice cover map below, dated Mar 13, 2019.
Red color is old, multi-year ice cover;
Green color is one-year old ice;
Pink color is young ice (10-30 centimeters).
What happened to less than 1% of the ice pack? How did it grow to 30-40% in such a short time, in about 3 months? NOAA and WP and SALON and the rest of the GW pack are wrong, probably even, intentionally wrong? Impossible!
What about Arctic Ice Cover Map, regularly updated by Russian Northern Sea Route Administration NSRA, maybe their Map is a fake? Hardly so. You see, those who navigate Northern Sea Route and Arctic waters, consult with, and follow, NSRA warnings, advises, alerts and recommendations, as the only way not to be sunk by ice. They’d hardly consult with WP or SALON latest views on Arctic melting, to plot their NSR routes.
Take your choice. I’d trust NSRA, to stay on safe side.
